Oil change and related services went well except there was a need to return to dealership again to address an oil leak. That was 2 hours of travel and waiting that was not anticipated.

I was happy with the salesperson I worked with, but he was not a full-time VW salesman. As such, I wasn't fully educated on the car, which is fine because I'm okay with figuring out things myself. But I would not say it was a good buying experience. I was also surprised with a financing fee at the end, which felt very nickel-and-dimey. I did not receive a temporary tag upon leaving the lot, and was subsequently pulled over 3 times by police, which was a huge annoyance. I did not receive mats with my car - I don't think I've ever seen a new car without even basic mats. The car also has a broken button in the back, which is under warranty, but another annoyance to get fixed by service. And the remote start equipped on my car doesn't work - the app doesn't work at all, and the remote barely works. It's almost a useless feature.
